People Ops Department of One
Whether you call yourself a solo practitioner, army of one, or just hair-on-fire busy, running a company’s people function alone can be a rollercoaster ride.
Join Victoria Schanen as she sits down with Sarah Schoolcraft, Fred Leong, Morgan Williams, and Kenyachta West to discuss how people functions can be stood up by a single person or small team.
Key takeaways of this discussion will include:
- Standing up the people function in a startup by yourself
- Deciding between prioritization and postponement
- Building key relationships
- Making an impact on a lean budget
- Setting up easy wins
- Knowing when to wave the white flag and hire help
