2023 Special Report: Candidate Experience by Gender, Generation, Race & Ethnicity
In this executive brief, we explore the candidate experience journey by gender, generation, race & ethnicity.
This research executive brief highlights the candidate experience by gender, generation, race & ethnicity and is based on the 2023 CandE benchmark research of over 170,000 North American candidate responses.
Our research once again revealed that women, people of color, and younger candidates rated their candidate experiences more positively than older candidates, male candidates, and White/Caucasian candidates did. This most likely has to do with a continued focus on inclusive language and examples of diversity that employers are bringing to their careers sites, candidate communication, job ads, and other marketing collateral for their employment brands.
This research brief includes the following sections:
- NPS Ratings Tell the Story (Yet Again)
- The Difference Perceived Fairness Makes
- A Sense of Belonging Can Make a Recruiting and Hiring Difference
The CandE Benchmark Research Program has been focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience for over 12 years and delivers annual recruiting and hiring industry benchmark research. Over 2,000 companies big and small across industries have participated in our annual benchmark research surveying over 1.6 million candidates to date.
